In the PocketSuite app, you can offer your clients the choice to book services with or without a deposit by using the categories feature.
Follow these steps to set it up:
Step 1: Create Duplicate Services
- Navigate to: Settings > Services.
- Select a Service to Copy: Choose the service you want to offer with an optional deposit.
- Copy the Service: Click on Copy Service to create a duplicate.
- Set Deposit Options:
- For one version, set a required deposit.
- For the other version, leave the deposit amount as zero (or no deposit).
Step 2: Create Service Categories
- Navigate to: Settings > Categories.
- Add a New Category: Click the ‘+’ button to create a new category.
- Create Deposit Categories:
- Category 1: Name it something like “Services with Deposit” and select all the services that require a deposit.
- Category 2: Name it something like “Services without Deposit” and select all the services without a deposit.
- Optional: Create multiple categories for different service types, based on your offerings, if needed.
Client Booking Experience
When clients visit your booking page, they will now see the option to choose between services with a deposit requirement and those without. This gives them the flexibility to decide whether they want to book with a deposit.
