If you want to keep your home address private from clients who don’t yet have confirmed appointments, PocketSuite provides a way to manage this through your location settings and Smart Campaigns. Here’s how to set it up:
Setting Up Location Privacy
To start, ensure your location settings are configured so that your address isn’t visible to clients until they have a confirmed appointment.
Adjusting Location Settings:
- Navigate to Settings > Locations.
- Toggle off “Schedule clients from here" and then tap Save.
Updating Service Locations:
- Go to Settings > Services.
- Select the service you want to update and tap ‘Edit service’.
- Under Location, change it to ‘No location’.
- Repeat this step for each of your services.
By making these changes, your clients will not see your location when booking a service, keeping your home address private until necessary.
Setting Up a Prep for Appointment Smart Campaign
Next, you can use a Smart Campaign to send location details to clients who have confirmed appointments.
Enabling Smart Campaigns:
- Ensure Smart Campaigns are turned on by navigating to Settings > Features and toggling on Smart Campaigns.
Creating a Prep for Appointment Smart Campaign:
- Navigate to Home > Smart Campaigns.
- Tap the ‘+’ button and select ‘Send prep for appointment’.
- Customize the campaign to include details such as your location, and set it to send automatically to clients with confirmed appointments.
By following these steps, you can effectively hide your home address from clients until they have confirmed their appointments. This allows you to maintain your privacy while still providing necessary information to clients at the appropriate time.
