To set the cancellation policy, go to Settings > Cancellations. If you charge $30 for a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment, the system will automatically charge your client if they cancel within 24 hours. To ensure the system can enforce your cancellation policy, you'll need to require a credit card for all bookings. You can set that requirement by going to Settings > Scheduling > Require CC > Always > Save. Pro Tip: Another way to ensure clients take your time seriously, is to require clients to pay a deposit at the time of booking for the same amount of your preferred cancellation fee.
