Utilize PocketSuite's automated notifications to automatically remind your clients of their appointments or payments due. You can even connect your PocketSuite calendar to your device calendar so you can receive notifications for upcoming confirmed appointments. Learn more about syncing your calendar here.
Head to settings > notifications. This sets the default for notifications. You can change the global settings here or change them manually for certain clients in their profile or when tapping on schedule a client.
View or adjust the default for your appointments and payment reminders.
Send Via: Text Message, Email & Text Message, or Email
Payment Reminders: Every day, Every 3 days, Once a week, Every 2 weeks, or Every 30 days
Appointment Reminders: Don't remind, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days
Silence your transaction: By toggling this on, you will not get a push notification with sound every time a transaction is completed (a booking, a payment, a signed contract, a completed form) which is the default behavior if toggled off. There will still be a record of it in the message thread for reference but there won’t be a notification.
You can also set reminders at the client level to override the default settings.
Send via (how you want your client to be notified: text, email, text and email) and Send reminder (when would you like your client to be reminded).
Turning on smart campaigns will include this client in any smart campaign message you send out to clients.
You can also override these settings when you're scheduling an individual appointment. In the send via and reminder section, you can also select "don't notify".
The appointment reminder message is standard and is as follows:
Hi Client: Just a friendly reminder about your upcoming appointment with Business Name on Oct 27th at 11:00 am PDT - the link to the appointment is below. Best, Your Name, Your Business Name, Your Phone Number
If you'd like to customize the text of your reminders, you can use a Smart Campaign- the type "Send prep for appointment" will allow you to send any message you like before a client books.
Protip: There's a period of "quiet time" between 8pm-8am, so if your settings would have your reminder go out during that time, include a client email and change the "send via" to both text and email so they're sure to get their reminder!
