PocketSuite has an easy way to collect sales tax on your services if that's a need in your area. Be sure it's turned on in settings > features > sales tax > save.
Once it's on, you'll be able to tap into the total field for any invoice and toggle the sales tax on or off as you choose.
On an appointment, you can choose whether the sales tax should be applied at the rate of your location or the client's location.
If you also have itemization toggled on, you turn adjust sales tax on particular items.
PocketSuite also has a great feature so you can export your sales tax data each quarter to give to your tax pro. Go to settings > data export to check it out!

Depending upon where you live at might be important for you to charge sales tax on your services or goods. To turn sales tax on, find sales tax, toggle it on, we do encourage you to finish watching the video, tap save, and what's once it is enabled you’ll tap charge, and then when you enter the total you'll see a sales tax button. You can also view sales tax from the calendar while you're scheduling an appointment. Once you select a service, if you go into the total you can check out the sales tax location, your location, or the location at which the transaction is occurring. Lastly, if you go back into settings, go all the way down to data export, and you could export any information that you may need so you can do sales tax.
- Toggle Sales Tax on, tap save.
- Tap Charge on the home screen, select a client to charge.
- Enter in the total due, enable Sales Tax, tap Done in the top right.
- Invoice the client per usual.
