The imports team added my form, what now?

Once the imports team adds your form, it appears alongside any forms you create yourself. You can edit it, send it, or attach it to the services, reservations, packages, and subscriptions you sell.

How You Will Know The Import Is Done

When the imports team finishes, you get a message in the app letting you know your forms are ready. If you have notifications turned on, it arrives as a notification on your phone like any other message.

Finding Your Imported Form

  • If you have not turned Forms on yet, go to Settings > Features and switch on Forms.
  • Go to Settings > Forms. Every form on your account appears here, including anything the imports team added.
  • Tap the form, then tap Edit form to check its settings. If For clients to complete is off, the form is internal only and cannot be sent to a client.

  • Tap the form you want to send, then tap the client you want to send it to.

From the client's message thread

  • Open the client's message thread and tap the $ icon at the bottom.
  • Choose Send a form.
  • Pick the form from the list and tap Send form.

Choosing How Often Clients Complete A Form

Tap the form name, choose Edit form, then tap the Always require setting. It opens a list of options (not an on/off toggle) that controls how often a client must complete the form:

  • For each checkout: required every time the client checks out
  • During the first checkout: only required the first time the client checks out
  • Every month
  • Every 2 months
  • Every 3 months
  • Every 6 months
  • Every 12 months
  • Every 18 months
  • Every 2 years
  • Every 3 years

Always require options

For example, if you attach a form to a service and leave Always require on During the first checkout, a client who has already completed it will not be asked again. Choose For each checkout if you need a fresh copy every time, or one of the recurring options if you need it refreshed on a schedule.

You can attach a form to a service, a reservation, a package, a subscription, or online booking. On a service, reservation, package, or subscription the setting is called Attach a form. For online booking it is called Requires form, and it lives under Edit checkout.
