Creating and customizing new packages
PocketSuite’s Packages feature allows you to sell your services in bulk in a single transaction. To begin, go to Settings > Packages.
You will be brought to a screen which displays all of your existing packages. Tap “+” then “Create a package” to create a new package.
You will be brought to the form below. Make sure that your package has an informative name and description before moving on to the next steps.
Now you are ready to customize the contents of your package! To select the services offered in the package, begin by tapping on “Services”.
If you would like all of your services to be offered as part of the package, tap “All services”. If you would like to choose specific services to be offered as part of the package, tap “Some services”.
If you tapped “Some services”, you will now be brought to a list of all the services you offer. Tap the services you would like to be in this package. Tap “Done” when you are satisfied.
PocketSuite’s Packages feature allows you specify the quantity of offered services by sessions or hours. One session correlates to one booking of one service within the package. To begin, tap “Sessions”.
Select the number of sessions or hours you wish to offer for this package. Hours can be found by scrolling down beyond “Number of sessions”.
Now you are ready to set the price of the package! Tap on “Price” to begin.
You will see the form below. Remember that the price of the package does not have to be the same as the cumulative price of all of your services. Write your desired price into “Amount”. If you would like to add a discount rate, tap on “discount rate” and select the rate. Toggle “Allow sales tax” if you would like to charge for sales tax with the purchase of this package.
To ensure that clients use the content of their packages, it is important to set an expiration date. Tap on “Expires after” to begin. Select a period of time. This is the window of time in which clients will have to use their sessions after purchasing. Once the window of time has closed, any remaining sessions will be forfeit.
If you would like for this package to be purchased on your online booking site, toggle “show online”.
You may also attach forms and contracts to your package. The client must sign any attached form or contract when purchasing to validate their sessions.
And that’s it! Be sure to add an informative photo to grab your clients eye. When you are satisfied with the settings of your package, tap “Save”.
Booking clients with packages
PocketSuite allows you to book clients using services included within their package. To get started, tap on “Schedule” from your dashboard.
Tap on “Client” and select the client you would like to book.
Now tap on “Services” to bring up the list of services you offer. PocketSuite will indicate the services purchased by the specified client as part of the package with “Prepaid package”. Tap on the prepaid service you wish to book the client for.
The price of the appointment is determined by the price of the service selected. This amount cannot be changed at this time.
Fill out the rest of the form as you normally would. Tap “Next” when you are satisfied with your settings. Tap “Send” when you are ready to book your client.
Manage and track client’s package usage
