Tap To Pay (TTP) lets you accept contactless payments from your clients using your phone. TTP is a simple and secure way to collect payments without a card reader. All you need is a compatible Android device or iPhone. With TTP, you can accept physical contactless credit and debit cards or digital wallets when you charge clients in the PocketSuite app.
Tap To Pay does not have to be turned on in features. It’s automatically enabled for all PocketSuite accounts, including your team members’ accounts.
If your device isn’t eligible for Tap To Pay, PocketSuite will alert you before you attempt to charge the client. If using an iPhone, you must be on iOS 16.7 or later to use Tap to pay. Read this guide for a list of devices that support Tap To Pay.
Note: Your client's physical card must be contactless for TTP to work. Contactless cards have a wave symbol on the front, like the one pictured below:
Before setup: Tap To Pay requires you to set your location in PocketSuite under Settings > Location. This is required even if you do not schedule clients at your location. If you are a mobile business without a business location, you can use your home address or the address used during verification. "Schedule clients here" is toggled off, the locations of your existing appointments, and the appointments clients schedule in the future, will not change even though you've added your address.

Do not pull the card away from the device until you are prompted on the screen!
If the transaction is successful, you’ll see the done screen below, and you can choose whether to text or email a receipt to your client.
On the final success screen, you can view the payment or create another payment.
