Client Photo Upload

How do I ask my clients to submit images in advance of our appointment?

PocketSuite makes it easy for you to request, and for your clients to submit images in preparation for an appointment. Many of our top-performing Beauty Pros have their clients submit before photos and/or inspiration photos to prepare for their appointment.

Using client fields to receive client images

The client fields feature in PocketSuite allows you to collect and store many different types of information from your clients, including photos (For more detailed information on client fields visit our Suite Center article here).

Create a “file upload” field

In your PocketSuite app, go to Settings > Client fields > ‘+’

Title your field and then select Field type > File upload. This will allow your clients to upload an image from their camera roll.

Next select Show field to select which record the field will be associated with / where you will see the newly created field in the app (e.g., client record, booking record, product order record, or sub-account record (if enabled)).

If you toggle on one of the Show during checkout options, clients will be prompted to upload an image during the checkout process for that service. Setting the field to appear on the Booking record will prompt your client to add an image at each booking, setting the field to appear on the Client record will prompt them to add a photo only at the first checkout. If you would like the image uploaded before they book an appointment, toggle on Booking checkout under the Show during checkout options. Check out our article on Client Fields to learn more about setting up your client fields so that they are seen in the correct flows.

Additionally, you can add a file upload to individual forms that you create. When you are creating or modifying a form, select Form Fields > Field type and select File Upload as the field type.
