Many professionals, such as fitness trainers and dog trainers, often need to send follow-up tasks or "homework" to their clients after a session. The PocketSuite app provides a streamlined way to manage this by using the forms feature. Here’s how you can create and send assignments directly to your clients:
Creating and Customizing a Form for Client Homework
- Navigate to the Forms Section
- Go to Settings > Forms.
- Tap the ‘+’ button to create a new form.

Sending Homework Assignments
- Once your form is created, you can use it to send detailed homework assignments that might include instructional links, lists of tasks, or multiple-choice questions representing different tasks.
Fill Out and Send the Form:
For homework assignments where your client fills out certain fields:
- Navigate to the message thread for the client you wish to send the form.
- Select ‘+’ > More > Form.
- Select the form you wish to send.
For homework assignments where you wish to customize for each client:
- Navigate to the forms dashboard.
- Use the Fill out form option after selecting a client.
- Customize the form with the tasks you want to assign and send it directly to the client (note that when setting up these forms, you will want to toggle off ‘For clients to complete’ prior to filling and sending the form to your client).
- Client Receives and Completes Homework.
The client will receive a clear and readable version of the form. They can follow any included links or instructions to complete their homework and have a record of their progress.
This method not only helps clients stay on track with their assignments but also allows you to monitor their progress between sessions.
